Drayage
Jones Transportation fell into the drayage market by accident. We began to dray our own containers and people noticed. Customers then began calling us to move their containers. We were not looking at the drayage business but true to the Jones Transportation culture, we said yes! Now here we are with a large fleet of equipment handling many types of containers daily!
That brings us to Jones Transportation’s drayage of today. We have a multitude of equipment to handle drayage. We can handle 20’, 40’, 45’, 48’, and 53’ containers.

Jones Transportation has the ability to track the location of the container while enroute to either CN or CP. We can tell if there are any delays or customs issues on your shipment and notify you so it can be corrected by the LFD at rail.
